Storrs Campus WebinarThis semester, the Center for Career Development has partnered with The TJX Companies, Inc., the leading off-price apparel and home fashions retailer in the U.S. and worldwide, to offer a case competition designed exclusively for College of Liberal Arts & Sciences (CLAS) students. The case is designed to allow students across majors to work together in teams of 2-4 and showcase their unique skills to employers within the context of a real-world case. All participating teams will have the opportunity to present their final presentations to representatives from The TJX Companies, Inc. for feedback and a chance to win prizes. This info session will provide more information on the case competition structure, process, and requirements as well as an opportunity to ask the case competition coordinators any questions you have!

Frontiers is the annual showcase of undergraduate research and creative activity at UConn. Undergraduate students from across the disciplines will be presenting posters about their work and will be present to answer your questions and talk about their experiences. The presenters include Honors Scholars, University Scholars, SURF recipients, IDEA Grant recipients, OUR award recipients, and student participants in the Health Research Program and the Work-Study Research Assistant Program. Stop by and browse through the posters showcasing research and creative work done across all disciplines throughout the year. Talk with the students about their projects, find out about the exciting work going on in your discipline, and maybe get a few ideas of your own. This event is open to the entire university community.
